RFID-technologies
Technology of radio-frequency identification (RFID) is one of the ten universally recognized major technologies of 21 century.
| In 2009 RUE “Minsk printing factory” of Goznak together with Public Enterprise “Centre for Identification Systems” www.ids.by has been organized the project on RFID-technology introduction at our enterprise. The realization of this project has started in 2011. | ![]() |
How does the given technology work at our warehouse?
- The developed software is established on RFID-terminal - special gate which allows to consider all labels which have passed through the gate and the personal computer that allows to collect and process the information on a real-time basis.
- All goods before its placing in a warehouse are registered through the RFID-gate.
- The terminal scan labels, the information is displayed on the display. There is a possibility to put down various criteria and directories in the program: the name, quantity, date of manufacturing, receipt on a warehouse, the responsible person, a storage place etc.
- After information gathering, data exchange with registration system is made.
RFID-technology introduction at our enterprise has allowed:
- to reduce costs of the account of the goods,
- to reduce labor inputs because RFID-technology considerably accelerates the process of goods acceptance from one warehouse to another.
- to raise level of operative control of movement of a commodity output
- to make operative decisions on a real-time basis.
- to structure such business processes as storage, transportation and shipment of the goods, at the expense of an exception of influence on process «the human factor.
With application of RFID technology the warehouse account became much easier.
Excise stamps with the RFID-interface
The project based on creation of the system of organization and control over a turn of alcoholic production in the Republic of Belarus with using of logistical labels and excise stamps with the RFID-interface started in the end of 2009 within the limits of struggle against counterfeit production and replenishment of the state budget.
This system is based on the application of a uniform IT platform for construction of specialized computer cash system for realization of the state control over a turn-over of alcoholic production, radio-frequency electronic identification and excise stamps with an RFID label. In this system each bottle of alcoholic production will contain the unique identification code which will allow to track its way at realisation of the further operations.
Control systems on turnover of the alcoholic production similar to the developed in our Republic system with the RFID-technology have not been used in the international practice yet. Thus, the first-ever project of this kind can be realized in the Republic of Belarus. The realization of the project will be started in 2013.
